Judo Dojo is a Kodokan judo technique reference (nage-waza, ne-waza, and belt syllabi for Canada and USA). This policy describes how we handle information when you use the website or mobile app.

The website is free. The mobile app is a one-time paid download through Google Play (and App Store when available). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Information we store

We do not require an account. The only information kept by the app is on your device:

• Theme preference (light or dark).
• Syllabus federation choice (Canada or USA), if you pick one.

Network use (not data sharing)

When you choose to watch a technique video, open a syllabus PDF, or load a YouTube thumbnail, your device connects to those services directly — similar to opening a link in a browser. We do not send your name, email, or other personal data to YouTube, Google, or federation sites.

The mobile app is purchased through Google Play or the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by that store; we do not receive or store card numbers.

What we do not collect or share

We do not collect or share with third parties:

• Name, email, or phone (unless you email us directly)
• Location or GPS
• Contacts, photos, or files on your device
• Analytics or advertising identifiers (we do not use analytics or ads)
• Any personal data sold or licensed to others

Third-party content

Videos and PDFs are hosted by their providers (e.g. YouTube, Judo Canada, USA-TKJ). When you open them, their privacy policies apply to that interaction. We do not pass your identity to those providers.

Children

The app is an educational sports reference. It is not directed at children under 13 to collect personal information. Parents and coaches should supervise young judoka online.

Security

Data in transit uses HTTPS/TLS where supported. Preferences stay on your device. Clear app data or uninstall the mobile app to remove local preferences.

Your choices and rights

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
